Social Enterprise

We currently run three social enterprise projects which offer support and resources to local businesses so that they can grow and develop, we use our facilities as a means to support local business & organisations and we can offer advice and support to individuals looking to start their own business locally.



Our Projects


Property Management

The first is a property management project with the name of Boyne Enterprises. At present Boyne Enterprises manages the seven shop units (units 1 – 7) under its offices at 127/145 Sandy Row. Over the past 4 years BSCR has gain valuable experience from its purchase, refurbishment and letting of these units, experience which we are hoping to apply to other development within Sandy Row.

Test Centre

The second, is the setting up of a dedicated examination centre within the hub at sandy row. We believe that we are the first community based group to attempt to do this and we are happy to announce that we have won contracts from three of the biggest online examination companies in the world to host their exams in Northern Ireland. All these companies have come to realise that we have set up not only a first class facility but also have the procedures and skills in place to guarantee the integrity of their exams.


Room & Facility Hire

Our fully refurbished Centre and the exceptional service provided by our staff makes our venue the perfect location for conferences, boardroom meetings, presentations, training events and interviews in South Belfast. As well as our rooms we also have equipment and resources available to hire on site.


Looking to the future, BSCR is committed to establishing more social enterprises in the area to contribute to its social and economic sustainability giving it a platform to maintain and increase the services it provides for the local community.
