BSCR will be running a geneology project, otherwise known as tracing your family tree,beginning Wednesday 22nd Feb 2012.  This will run for 8 weeks and is facilitated through the Ulster Historical Foundation & funded by the Big Lottery.  Participants will get the chance to visit the newly refurbished Public Records Office of Northewrn Ireland @ the Titanic Quarter and will also receive a 1 year membership that allows them acces to internet searches for 1 year.  Anyone interested in this project please ring 02890244449 or contact us via e-mail on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. BSCR would like to thank all those who came along and supported us on our Female & Male Health Days.

Both days were a great success with very valuable and complimentry services on offer.  BSCR hopes to be able

to offer more of these services in the future and welcomes everyone to be a part of all the community activities planned.

Sandy Row I.T. Centre has recently been appointed as a centre of preference by Age Concern.  This reflects the growing numbers of senior citizens who are taking advantage of our flexible learning service.  In plain words this means that they can come along and learn computer/internet skills in a friendly learning environment free of charge and with no pressure to take exams etc.  The oldest learner we have at the minute is 92, so you are never too old to learn something new
